The whole story was fascinating and when I read it, I was totally absorbed in it. Last year, when I was a freshman in the college, I read its English original edition. In my opinion, Jane Eyre is very much the story of a quest to be loved. Jane searches, not just for romantic love, but also for a sense of being valued, of belonging.
