最实惠的办学投入：沿渡河镇人民政府投资80余万元实现了沿渡河镇民族中心小学运动场黑色化、投资维修了集镇至沿渡河镇初中百步梯进校路路灯。沿渡河镇人民政府投资15万余元、王绪坤个人投资3万余元改扩建了堆子场小学进校路。巴东县发改局三峡对口支援办公室引进仙桃市市委市政府支援罗溪坝小学就餐通道改造项目30万元成功落地。罗溪坝小学争取北京“歌路营”集团投资的学生“睡前故事”项目和北京感恩基金会“一校一梦想”项目组投资3万元建设的图书角以及沿渡河供电营业所投资3万元的校园主干电线改造、童家坪小学争取的清华大学“菁华大学?美丽乡村”项目组投资的学生
“睡前故事”项目和50名学生受助项目、罗溪坝初中九二届校友捐助资金5万元援建的学校档案室项目均顺利实施。巴东县政协为堆子场小学10名学生捐赠了价值1500元学习用品。由爱心人士潘本义牵线争取，广东省“一缕阳光”爱心团队为大桥滩小学10名学生每月捐助200元生活费直至大学毕业。
最接地气的工作：全镇所有在职在编教师均圆满完成扶贫阶段性工作任务。全镇建档立卡贫困户家庭学生1777人受助资金全部到账。沿渡河镇初中、罗溪坝初中、沿渡河镇民族中心小学、童家坪小学、代书坪小学实施了营养餐进食堂，惠及2805名学生。
沿渡教育特色凸显，硕果累累。呈现出良好的发展态势：生态环境逐步优化，教学秩序平稳有序，教师队伍专业成长，办学特色亮点纷呈，教育质量整体提升，教育发展均衡推进。镇中心学校连续3年被授予“县级文明单位”、镇级“社会发展突出贡献单位”，连续5年被县教育目标综合考核为优秀单位，沿渡河镇人民政府被恩施州人民政府表彰为“教育先进乡镇”。
