Migrant workers refer to farmers who do menial work in cities instead of working in villages. Recently, the phenomenon that more and more migrant workers flash into cities for high-earning jobs has become the focus of the public concern.
Why is there a growing trend to leading farmers to moving into cities to work? There are three main reasons that should be taken into account. To begin with, they can make more money in cities than that in the countryside. It is the nature choice for people to make modest protection. In addition, it is the inevitable outcome in the process of fast industrialization and urbanization. Last but not least, for some young migrant workers, the lure of the city contributes them to leaving their native place.
As far as I concerned, for a developing country, migrant workers are the main labor forces for city expansion and the construction of airports, factories and roads. What’s more, it can make the social personnel flow more and more frequently to increase domestic demand for the economic development. However, as the old saying goes: a coin has two sides. The fact that migrant workers flash into cities results in the lack of labor forces in rural areas and the desolation of the land. In the long run, it will be a terrible foreboding that migrant workers are blind to flash into cities.
