教材分析:人教版《新目标英语Go for it》每个单元都有一个Language Goal, 这个Language Goal 其实就是本单元的Topic。然后所有的课程设计都是围绕着这个话题,无论是Sentence , Vocabulary 还是 Grammar。本单元所有的环节设置都紧紧围绕了家庭成员这个主题。在整个单元中家庭成员的称谓以及对家庭成员的介绍和提问,与一个个小任务紧密地结合在一起。任务由一开始的口头介绍到之后的书面表达,由最初单一的家人称谓到最后连贯的语句,教材较好地体现了教学的渐进性和层次感,使学生在教师的带领下能反复地掌握和巩固本单元的生词和新句型。从而达到流畅介绍家庭成员的目的。本课时作为单元的第一课,主要让学生学会确认家庭成员并口头介绍家人和朋友。与此同时让学生了解可数名词的单复数。

学情分析:七年级的学生刚刚全面的学习英语,对英语学习充满了兴趣,求知欲强,乐于表现自己,而且有较强的记忆力和模仿能力。同时他们在小学学过一些有关家庭成员称呼的单词。在预备篇第二单元也学过如何介绍物品的方式,这些都为开展这节课创造了较好的条件。根据学生的知识储备和七年级学生的特点并结合教材设计,我使用了以下的教学方法:

首先在对整个课时进行教学设计的时候,从Topic入手,以下列的程序进行:Topic –--Structure —Vocabulary--- Sentence--- Grammar。其次,用五步教学法;情景教学法;结合“English possible, Chinese necessary.”的教学

方法,进行听说结合,模仿操练,反复使用重点单词和句型,由浅入深,由易到难,循序渐进地深化教学内容;再次,把鼓励教育教学法参与到课堂教学中,教师评价多元化并且恰当的使用激励性评语,让学生尽量的参与到课堂教学活动中,有更多的机会说英语,让他们渴望成功的心理得到满足,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。 教学目标: 1.知识目标:

(1) New words: family, mother, father, brother, sister, friend, grandmother, grandfather, parents, grandparents, brothers, uncle, aunt, who, these, those.

(2) New structures: This is?. That is?. These are?. Those are?. Who’s?? Who’re??

(3) Grammar: 可数名词单复数的变化和使用2.能力目标:通过学习“介绍他人;辨认人物”的语言目标,使学生学会介绍他人和识别人物,掌握基本句型:This is? / That is? / These are?. / Those are?等,培养学生实际交际能力。3.情感目标:

(1)通过学习家庭称呼,了解中西方家庭称呼的异同。

(2)通过介绍家人和朋友,对学生进行亲情教育,使学生学会感恩,热爱家庭。教学重点: (1) New words and New structures.

(2) 情感目标的实现。教学难点: 名词的概念和可数名词的单复数。

一、教学目标

知识目标:

1、帮助学生四会掌握以下单词 grandfather,grandmother, grandparents,

father, mother, parents, son, daughter, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend, these, those, 并对复数形式有初步了解。

2、询问别人的家人与向同学或朋友介绍自己的家人,人称代词的用法 I he she they; 同时注意this that it的复数表达形式these those they以及动词are。

3、一般疑问句的肯定、否定回答名词复数的使用。

能力目标:

通过本节课学习,学生就家庭成员相互之间应该能用英语介绍、询问、交流。

并能用英语在脑子里对个家庭成员的关系进行思考。例如见到father’s mother,他们能反应出是指grandmother。同时基本上辨别什么时候用单数什么时候用复数。

德育目标:

通过对家庭成员的学习学生对自己的家庭成员会有更清晰的印象从而激发起他们对家人的热爱。

二、教学重点及难点

重点:熟练掌握各家庭成员的名称会读会说会用这些词汇交流。这个单元

最主要的就是学习个家庭成员英语的表达而几乎所有的单词都集中

在第一课时。所以这课时四会掌握这些单词应该是重中之中。 难点:复数的认识和正确运用。汉语表达中完全没有复数概念“这是一本书”“这是三本书”除了多了个数字其他没有任何变化。而英语必须这样说This is a book. These are books.所有的单词都相应的发生了变化。因此中国学生在学习复数的时候特别难。我们的语言没有这个习惯。

三、教学准备

学生最好能带上自己家的全家福,或家庭成员照片

四、教学过程

1、导入新课,引出新知

⑴口语对话进入英语学习氛围

T: Good morning/Good afternoon ,boys and girls!

Ss: I’m fine,thank you

⑵family 单词中字母代表的意义

⑶我们身边有一家我们非常熟悉的一家人,让我们一起去拜访他们,观看图片,问学生问题引出本课新单词:sister、father、mother、brother、 parents、grandparents。

2、新课教学,传递新知

⑴观看书本上图片并找出相关人物

⑵Pair-work : 训练学生口语表达能力

A: That’s my family. Those are my parents.

B: Who’s she?

A: She’s my sister. Oh, and these are my brothers.

B: Who’s that old man?

A: He’s my grandfather.

⑶听力训练

① Listen and circle the words you hear,听录音完成任务要求的圈出男孩谈到的人物。校对答案。

②Listen again. Match the names with the people in the picture. ③口语表达,回答对话中问题

④Pair work 训练口语表达,进行小组对话练习,可以更改有关的人物称呼,模仿课文编出自己的一段话,轮流谈.

⑷阅读训练,Read the dialogue in 2d and fill in the blanks. ⑸Role play conversation

Task 1.Revise General Questions.

Step1.Students watch the screen and the teacher shows the PowerPoint:

Step2.Students answer the questions and then check the answers. Step3.The teacher guides the students to summarize the grammar points.

Task 2. Find out the patterns.

Step1.Watch the screen and show the sentences in turn. e.g.

This is a key.→These are keys. That is a pen.→Those are pens.

Step2. Ask the students to compare the sentences and then find out the

structures.

Step3.Have the students briefly know about the notion of singular and

plural.

『While-task』

Task 1.Memorise the key words about family members.

Watch the screen and learn the new words one by one according to the pictures. Ask the students to repeat after the teacher.

Task 2.Finish Activity 1a.

Step1.Ask the students to do Activity 1a singly. Step2.Check the answers.

Step3.Devide the class into two groups: boys and girls, and then read the

words in groups. Don’t forget to give the students some positive assessments.

Task 3.Introduce people and talk about Dave’s family.

Step1.Play the tape .Students listen and finish Activity 1b, then check the

answers. Step2.Pairwork .

Take turns to talk about Dave’s family. Step3.Groupwork.

Divide the class into two groups: boys and girls then talk about Dave’s family in turn. In addition to Kim’s family. Step4. Finish Activity 2a, 2b. Step5. Groupwork.

Girls ask about the people in the picture of 2b using General Questions, boys answer. And then change roles.

『Post-task』 Task 1.Consolidation

Watch the screen, and talk about a student’s family through guessing some family photos.

Task 2.Summary

Watch the screen. Ask the students to repeat the target language that we learned in class.

Appendix : Power Point Design
