【摘要】英语歌曲童谣在中小学教学中已被广泛应用,它不仅激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生能够在相对轻松舒适的环境中更好的学习英语,而且在提高学生学习方法,改善学生语音语调方面更起了相当大的作用,在近来提倡的一些英语教学法中都提到了用英语童谣及歌曲来进行有效的英语教学。在英语课堂教学中,恰当地运用歌曲与童谣,能使教学变得生动、丰富,使枯燥的语言知识变得有趣,从而收到令人满意的效果。

【关键词】童谣 兴趣 快乐学习

一、激发兴趣,快乐学习英语

小学生天性好动,喜欢既动口又动手。枯燥的死记硬背英语只能让学生对英语产生厌恶感。心理专家研究表明,注意力的集中一次只能维持30分钟左右,何况小学生年龄小,自我控制能力比较差,注意力更不容易长时间集中。在英语课的教学过程中,小学生常有注意力不集中的情况发生。这时说明他们的大脑已进入了疲劳阶段,出现了思维的低谷期。因此,每个小学英语教师都会面临着如何处理好学生思维低谷的问题。实验证明,愉快的旋律能使人身心放松,使人的大脑皮层出现疲劳的区域得到短暂的休息。而儿童英语歌曲节奏欢快,旋律轻松,歌词又生动活泼,能够很好的鼓动学生学习英语的情绪,激发他们学习英语的兴趣。例如在教walk,swim,fly,

jump等动词时,英语歌曲就能让学生边听边唱边做,全身心投入到英语课堂中。

学生通过对大象,鱼,鸟,兔子等动物的模仿,可以很容易记住相对动物的动作,英语单词在脑海中的记忆便变得很生动。在字母教学中,对一些歌曲的改编应用,可以排解学生发音混淆的困扰。例如在教字母Ll,Mm,Nn时,将三个字母不同排列,以两只老虎的音调哼唱:LMN,MNL; NML,LMN; MNL,NML; LMN, MNL

根据同样的方法替换不同的字母,让学生做字母游戏,既能使学生牢固的掌握每个字母的发音,又能调节其学英语的积极性,使学生在简单的音乐游戏中无意识的完成了英语教学的任务。

二、培养儿童节奏感、语感

实验表明语言学习的最好时期是在人的童年阶段,这一时期的语言学习对今后的影响是根深蒂固的。小学阶段英语教学的一个重要任务便是要培养学生良好的语音语调及语感知识,因此从小就给学生培养良好的语音语调面貌至关重要,教学生唱英语歌曲童谣是训练学生良好语感的一个很

有效的方法。童谣内容生动有趣,朗朗上口,节奏感强,有韵律味,非常适合儿童练习语音语调,例如这首数字童谣:

通过两个排比句,不但让学生掌握了1—10的数字英文说法,而且由于结构相似,学生也容易记忆,并且在童谣中孩子们很自然就能找到重音和语言节奏,所以常唱英语儿歌能增强他们对咬字发音、音调、语调的把握,提高他们对节奏及抑扬顿挫的敏感度.使口腔发音部位更加灵活.增进说英语时的流利程度,同时也积累了一定的语感知识。

三、启发思维,激发想象力

“培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象力和创新精神”基础教育阶段英语课程的任务之一。而小诗和童谣能培养学生这些能力。例如:在教学句型There be 时,我运用了这首小诗:

根据艾宾浩斯的遗忘规律,小学生一开始遗忘最快,随后遗忘趋于稳定,对他们所学的东西进行及时巩固,才能降低遗忘率。如果单纯用对中学生一样的方法进行归纳总结的话,小孩子会感到乏味,从而抑制他们的记忆。利用歌曲和童谣来刺激孩子们的大脑兴奋点,对巩固记忆有一

定的效果。语法教学和单词的记忆在小学英语教学中是一个难题,但让小学生学会一些难易程度适当的歌曲或童谣,不仅能提高他们的学习兴趣,还能帮助他们理解和掌握一些基本的语法知识,减轻记忆单词的难度。如:利用童谣去区别一些形似的单词:
